Hello

 

So im rigging for an existing game, we need to add some animations/ new pieces of clothing. I've been given the previous riggers stuff and there are numerous problems.. for instance he has no animation controllers and the skeleton is not in the original bind pose/ I don't believe there is a way of resetting that. I have tried adding new controls and constraints in order to have the option to add new animations whilst hopefully being able to use the existing ones (i thought i could probably just use the position of frame 1 for the default bind pose?) but when i apply them the position of the joint will move, which I dont want. I'm thinking I'm probably going to have to do the whole thing again, however that means the animations can't be used. And there awill be a lot of skinning.

 

Any idea if there is a way I can add new controls to my skeleton without it moving the bones to undesired locations? Or am I doomed to restarting this rig and animations?

the animation is keyed on the bones at the moment also :/
