Alembic Pipeline Workflows from Realflow 2014 to Maya using Vray’s Proxy Import System
We will be discussing alembic pipeline workflows specifically relating to the use of Realflow 2014 to create alembic mesh and particle caches, as well as how to import them into Maya using Vray 3’s proxy import system.
In addition to giving you a quick walk through on how to set up a basic Hybrido simulation, we will discuss Realflow 2014’s export central, and how to use it to export our alembic files with all the necessary channel information to carry over into Maya allowing us to render with full motion blur using Vray.
We will also cover a few tips on how to diagnose, and clean up the noise in your renders, as well as setting up standard render passes in Vray 3 for Maya.
