Primary Color of the traditional Color wheel
Secondary Color of the traditional Color wheel
Tertiary Color of the traditional Color wheel
Hue pure colors within a color space
Saturation intensity of a color, bright and dull
Value measurement of the lightness of a color, light or dark
Tint increases lightness, Hue + White
Shade reduces lightness, Hue + Black
Tone adjuts color’s value and intensity, Hue + Grey
RGB Color Model created with light, additive – Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta
CMYK Color Model created with ink, subtractive – Cyan, Blue, Magenta, Red, Yellow, Green
Monochromatic single base hue extended using its tints, shades, and tones
Complementary color directly opposite of each other on the color wheel
Split Complementary base color and two colors adjacent to its complement
Double Complementary combination of two complementary color pairs
Analogous groups of colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel
Triadic three colors that are equidistan on the color wheel
