Si, CTO from SiNi Software will introduce the latest plugin, Disperse, for 3ds Max 2014-2018. Disperse is a freehand 3d painting tool and object replacer that will free up your artistic creativity to allow you to paint complex scenes as easy as digitally painting in a 2D software program. By adding any 3d geometry, point cache or proxies you can paint unrestricted anywhere in your scene without the need to select base geometry. The paintbrush gizmo gives visual feedback on object direction, size of distribution and orientation. When you have finished 3d painting, you have the ability to export as edit mesh, saved as separate objects, ie people mesh, trees mesh. The demonstration will walk through the process of 3D painting an outdoor scene and talk about the features requested by users. Who is Presenting the Webinar
Simon Donaghy is co-founder and CTO of SiNi Software. He has over 20 years software programming experience for computer games, television, visual effects, visualization and film. He starting working as a game engine programmer for Inter-Dimension and migrated into the world of 3D visual effects and animation as a technical director. Before co-founding SiNi Software, Si worked as a VFX artist at Squint Opera and technical director at Glowfrog. Prior to this Si developed a small video game startup Herding Cats in the pursuit of making children’s video games. He also started 3dpusher.com for 3d VFX training and 3d asset sales. With many years in the industry working for Reuters TV and Nancy Glass productions he has had a chance to work on a wide variety of projects. Si also spends his spare time riding superbikes.
