Senior Modeling Artist

We are currently looking for Senior Modeling Artist to join our quest.
Senior Modeling Artist will be responsible to create high quality assets from supplied concept art.
This includes responsibility for modeling and surfacing of all characters, sets, and props. You will collaborate with other leads on the team, to create rich assets as directed by the Lead Asset Artist or Production Supervisor.
Work closely with the project’s Art team and to produce high quality assets, starting with early rough blocked models to executing the final textures and geometry
Help gather and interpret detailed reference materials for assets
Proactive in giving and receiving feedbacks within team
Ability to work with the Art Director to ensure consistency between vision and quality of the assets
Collaborate with technical teams to develop and improve the asset pipeline tool
Help the Lead Asset Artist to manage and guide the Asset team
Creating high quality models from photographic references or concept art that are ready for both the texturing team as well as the rigging teams
Work collaboratively with other members of the 3D team and other VFX departments
Creating high quality textures from photographic reference or concept art
Creating as well as providing UV’s and tested displacement maps out of sculpting packages
Collaborate with a team to determine various design solutions while offering workarounds to overcome production challenges
Disseminate information to your team members on workflows, methodologies, or creative / technical feedback from a supervisor
Work with a production team at an advanced level to execute the desired look of complicated CG assets, including creatures and hard-surface models, including environment, mechanical, organic, or supernatural assets with the highest level of photoreal quality
At least 6 years of working experience in CG Animation or VFX required
Great understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regarding to modeling
Superior eye for light, shade, colour and details in creating texture map
Understanding of physically based shading
Self-driven, good communicator, and great teamplayer
Advanced usage in Maya
Artistic/drawing skills is a plus
MEL and/or Python scripting is a plus
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design, animation, multimedia design, fine art, film studies or CGI and 3D modelling related field or equivalent work experience
