Job Description

Atomic Fiction is looking for several skilled animators to start immediately. Ideal candidates have experience animating creatures, hard surface objects and cameras. In all categories of animation, a solid grasp of speed, movement, framing, weight and follow-through are essential. Positions are available in both San Francisco and Montreal.

Ideal qualifications include:

Experience animating in Maya
Exceptional skill in animating organic forms
A thorough understanding of animation pipelines
Proven ability to work closely with other artists under tight production schedules.
Able to share techniques with peers and communicate effectively.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to react and respond quickly to the needs of management and clients.
Positions are available in both San Francisco and Montreal.

Job Description

We are looking for several Look Development Artists who use Maya and V-Ray to deliver top notch visuals. This is a back-end generalist position, which requires skills in texturing, look development and lighting for assets, full-CG environments and shots. All positions are available for an immediate start. Positions available in San Francisco and Montreal.

A proven ability to render photorealistic images.
Strong familiarity with Maya, V-Ray, Mudbox or Mari, Adobe’s Photoshop and various supporting applications.
Familiarity with The Foundry’s Nuke a plus.
Proven ability to work closely with other artists under tight production schedules.
Able to share techniques with peers and communicate effectively.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to react and respond quickly to the needs of management and clients.
Positions available in San Francisco and Montreal.

Job Description

We are looking for Lighters to start soon on several high-profile feature film projects. Ideal candidates are crusaders of unconventional problem solving, self-motived and able to work at blistering speeds while delivering top notch visuals. Positions located in both San Francisco and Montreal.

2-4 years experience in a film production environment.
Must be well versed in 3D concepts and workflows.
Strong familiarity with Autodesk Maya, The Foundry’s Nuke, Adobe’s Photoshop and various supporting applications.
Strong eye for lighting and familiarity with today’s bleeding edge rendering technologies.
Proven ability to work closely with other artists under tight production schedules.
Able to share techniques with peers and communicate effectively.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to react and respond quickly to the needs of management and clients.
