not really impressed with the fact i already have keyshot, and zbrush and yet now i have to BUY a goz app for them, since when did we have to pay for “bridges”, will the 3ds max “bridge” be a charged feature next, not amused at all, if you have both programs you should get the plugin

    • Dave Anthony Davidson

lol for years you have received feature rich upgrades for zbrush for FREE and now you are acting like they are the most greedy company on the planet. Not one of my other apps have given away their upgrades for free FOR YEARS. I don’t think you have any grounds to be pissed at them mate. IMHO

    • Matthew Heimlich

ZBrush hasn’t asked for a dime from existing users in like a decade. I’m pretty sure you’ll live. A lot more goes into a rendering bridge than just the repurposed .obj export of a GoZ applink.

    • Micheal Gray

      ^^this guy jeez^^

      • Micheal Gray

if you think there being unreasonable you could always switch to mudbox, i think there updates are only £400 and you get pretty much nothing

        • austingraphics

Updates? Don’t forget that the Mudbox license fee is due whether the software is updated or not?

          • William

lol zbrush gives free updates, mudbox you have to paid for there updates every year, not only that mudbox license is restricted to the country you bought it in, so if you travel you would have to repurchase mudbox for that country where zbrush doesn’t have license restrictions, if you own keyshot and zbrush you can just buy the bridge…..

    • austingraphics

Because your GO Z app wouldn’t render zbrush materials, especially fiber and hair. I also own Zbrush and Keyshot and have no problem paying $249 for a product that has given away thousands of dollars in updates over a 10 year period. I think I paid $399 for Zbrush 2.5 and this is the only update I have ever paid a dime for.

    • Eric

      wow what a cheapskate lol

    • haha u

      Waaaaaaaah

  • Tajcicuan

Will a Linux version ever be released?

  • austingraphics

Also Kudos to Keyshot for allowing Zbrush to import it’s own materials instead of the Keyshot materials library.

  • Gareth J Beedie

jees you guys are preciouse, and im soooo glad you have had 10 years of free up dates to be all pleased with, i however have not…..i have had zbrush since 4r6 was released, and only brought keyshot 5 a month ago, and considering im a student its a significant outlay, bully for you, if it makes you feel better i am excited about the new modeling features, but if i wanna complain about another huge amount of money on something that iv been looking forward to since they beta tested the keyshot goz, i will!

    • haha u

      Whiney girl

  • Thomas Teger

The KeyShot bridge is not based on GoZ. If you already own KeyShot, you will be able to just buy the bridge.

    • dsw

So will this bridge only work with Keyshot 5 or will it work for Keyshot 4 users?

      • Thomas Teger

It will only work with KeyShot 5.
