Senior Lighting Artist

Job Description

Job Title: Lighting Artist, Senior
Department: 3D
Classification: Full Time, Project-based
Status: Non-Exempt

Purpose of the job:

The Lighting Artist will light shots and sequences and may participate in some Look Development. The
Lighting Artist will work within the lighting and rendering pipeline to see shots through from start to finish.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Create photorealistic CG lighting that meets all technical and aesthetic standards for the project
• Complete tasks within production deadlines while being largely self-directed
• Be able to troubleshoot common rendering and lighting technical issues

Education and/or Experience Required:

• A wide range of experience and skills that can be used to resolve complex issues in creative and
effective ways
• 3+ years experience creating photorealistic lighting for feature films in Maya, Renderman, or
Vray. Leading or mentoring experience is a plus
• Extensive experience in a wide range of CG Lighting techniques and technical methods
• Experience with HDRs and image based lighting
• Ability to troubleshoot common rendering issues
• Python or MEL experience in production is a plus
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

Sponsorship Manager

Job Description

Job Title:​ Sponsorship Manager

Reports to:​ Executive Director of Global Business Development
Status: ​Exempt
Classification:​ Full-time, Staff

Purpose of the job:

The Sponsorship Manager drives consolidated and effective integrated sponsorship strategy that engages
all relevant stakeholders and build on and protects the strong reputation of Digital Domain as a creative
force in virtual reality, visual effects, and media applications.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities​:

● Lead innovative and comprehensive Sponsorship strategy across virtual reality projects including
ongoing negotiation and management of relative relationships
● Develop Sponsorship strategy and activation plans, ensuring optimum delivery of benefits for our
global iconic brand
● Lead the building of a central intelligence hub for Sponsorship within Digital Domain, and continue
to break new ground with outstanding, commercially astute and proven partnerships that are
aligned with all business units with the Digital Domain group of companies
● Oversee and manage the development of fully integrated sponsorship campaigns that leverage
partnerships at a regional and local level
● Work collaboratively with the local operations and other key stakeholders to develop executions
that help build a strong emotional connection with our customers
● Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with our existing and new partners.
● Sell Event Sponsorships across both individual and a portfolio of events
● Create and manage a pipeline of prospects to grow the sponsorship client base and ensure target
attainment
● Support sales teams in sourcing and developing sales leads to prospect
● Work with Sales Teams to prepare sales proposals for sponsorship investments
● Identify and propose custom marketing solutions to CEOs and VPs
● Implement efficient key account management strategies to maximize client relationship value
● Actively work with sales teams across London, New York and Los Angeles
● Support sales teams in finding sponsors for ongoing project pipelines
● Develop and manage a central project sponsorship pipeline

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Required:

● Degree in Marketing or Communications / marketing-related discipline
● Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in sponsorship management, equity building, and campaign
development; Experience in virtual reality is a plus

Accounting Manager

Description

Purpose of the job:

Digital Domain, the Academy Award-winning feature film and commercial visual effects studio located in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for its Finance Department, who will coordinate and manage key financial processes, including month end close, treasury needs and cash flow forecasting, financial planning, reporting and budgeting. This position will report directly to SVP, Corporate Controller.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day general ledger accounting and reporting
Ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP and internal controls
Responsible for the preparation, coordination, review and analysis of the management reporting package for month-end
Work with cross-functional teams to manage accurate accounting and reporting
Review and finalize Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet
Review and finalize variance analysis
Prepare and review Inter-Company allocations
Prepare and review account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly and annual statutory reporting

Education and/or Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA required
7+ years Accounting/Finance experience
Experience working with multi-business units within a global corporation preferred
Revenue Recognition Multiple Elements preferred
Experience in consolidation and preparing reporting package of full financials to parent company
Experience with Oracle Fusion a plus
Previous management experience with excellent leadership skills and hands-on management style

Senior Marketing Manager

Description

Purpose of the job:

The Senior Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the planning and execution of the company’s marketing activities, including messaging, advertising, design, social media, events, website maintenance/development, SEO, product launches, customer references, partner marketing, support of the business development team and internal communications. This role will both manage external vendors and serve as an individual contributor, and will work closely with the PR manager and counterparts in Asia to coordinate cross-channel campaigns.

Purpose of the job:

Drive publicity and corporate marketing programs to build and maintain positive visibility for Digital Domain 3.0 as a company and maximize visibility of the company’s work.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Develop and manage publicity campaigns for feature films, virtual reality, advertising and games, projects to secure consistent, high-quality, high-visibility media coverage
Manage all activities by external PR agency
Engage with business, entertainment, and general media to secure positive coverage of company news

Working with division coordinators, track, identify, and drive award submissions
