Purpose of the job:

Digital Domain’s Virtual Reality Platform has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Live Action Producer to work at the cutting edge of the VR Revolution. We are the industry leader in producing virtual reality and we are looking for a Line Producer that has the passion to jump in and help us usher the entertainment industry into a new era, bringing immersive, high-definition virtual reality directly to fans.
Do you have experience in the commercial, production, VR world and know how to produce top quality content? We are looking for a self-starter to take ownership of his/her role, carry out the vision of the creative director, pitch their own ideas, make quick decisions and adjust plans on the fly when necessary. You will be responsible for taking the lead on VR productions, planning out the production process, ensuring the efficient/timely/cost effective production from creative briefing through delivery of the job.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Live Action Producer who not only thrives in a fast-paced environment, but is open to frequent travel and has a passion for the job. If you are looking to broaden your experience with immersive technology then this might be the best job you ever had.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

You are a storyteller. Able to develop high quality live action and cinematic content with ease.
Work closely with the Head of Production and Executive Producers to properly budget the scope of work and schedule our VR projects from shoot through final delivery.
Creating appropriate and accurate bids (working with creative teams) with an emphasis on creativity to meet budgetary constraints of clients.
Work with internal teams to develop staffing plans for specific live action productions and recruit freelance positions when necessary.
Create the budget and plan, track and monitor all costs related to the production.
Presents production budgets and schedules and addresses production related questions for internal and external clients.
Accountable for maintaining relationships, client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time, and on budget and that projects are actualized, well documented, archived and closed.
Manages all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production.
Supervise edit session, whilst understanding the balancing act required to have a thriving relationship within your team.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and elevates creativity.
Supports leadership within department, keeps supervisor appraised of status of work.
Facilitates all materials getting to their destinations on time, including final masters for trafficking.
Cultivation of strong relationships with all internal departments including creative teams, media teams, and account teams as well as industry partners.
Remains current on industry and technological trends.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Required:

3 – 5 years in live action productions either commercials, short-form or music experience required.
Ability to identify project scope and prepare production calendars and bids.
Leadership skills – Willingness to lead AND be a part of a team.
Knowledge of the latest broadcast technology.
Creative problem-solver who finds ways to make things happen.
Experience and knowledge with permits, rights and clearance procedures.
Good knowledge of IATSE and DGA rules and regulations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills while under time and resource constraints.
Line production experience required.

Live VR Broadcast Engineer

Description

Purpose of the job:

It’s an exciting time at Digital Domain. Our Virtual Reality Platform is expanding exponentially and we want your expertise. We are looking for a Live VR Broadcast Engineer who is as passionate about creating cutting edge VR productions as we are.
As the Live VR Broadcast Engineer, you will support all Digital Domain’s VR productions, including livestreaming landmark events in 360° Virtual Reality, performing quality control measurements to insure proper video and audio quality is maintained and working closely with our Broadcast EIC to ensure all engineering related items are delivered as needed for production.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Live Broadcast Engineer who not only thrives in a faced-paced environment, but is looking to broaden their experience with immersive technology and help usher the entertainment industry into a new era, bringing immersive visual experiences directly to captivated audiences.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, communications, execution and tracking of approved Studio, IT and transmission projects.
Assist in design, installation, configuration, maintenance and support of broadcast Video, Audio, Graphics control, IT and transmission systems.
Monitoring, trouble shooting, maintaining studio equipment and setup needs.
Hands on responsibilities involve making sure all broadcast equipment is calibrated and operating correctly during studio productions.
The engineer will learn & have full understanding of the technical facility and the complex broadcast video/audio equipment and systems within the network center.
The engineer will be responsible to follow all Digital Domain standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Required:

2 – 5 years experience in broadcast engineering & studio operations.
Candidates must have experience working on studio television shows (live or non-live productions).
Must be knowledgeable in all areas of technical production and familiar with all production equipment, both std. and high definition including file based workflow, tape, drive and memory based video technology, production switchers, routers, cameras, RTS intercoms, and transmission equipment, graphics systems, and signal flow.
Must have a strong, working knowledge of television systems engineering. Additionally, knowledge of the integration of complex broadcast television systems and can troubleshoot computer based broadcast equipment.
Experience in 360° or Immersive experiences a bonus
Bachelor or Associates Degree or equivalent broadcasting experience.

Sponsorship Manager

Purpose of the job:

The Sponsorship Manager drives consolidated and effective integrated sponsorship strategy that engages all relevant stakeholders and builds on and protects the strong reputation of Digital Domain as a creative force in virtual reality, visual effects, and media applications.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Lead innovative and comprehensive Sponsorship strategy across virtual reality projects including ongoing negotiation and management of relative relationships
Develop Sponsorship strategy and activation plans, ensuring optimum delivery of benefits for our global iconic brand
Lead the building of a central intelligence hub for Sponsorship within Digital Domain, and continue to break new ground with outstanding, commercially astute and proven partnerships that are aligned with all business units with the Digital Domain group of companies
Oversee and manage the development of fully integrated sponsorship campaigns that leverage partnerships at a regional and local level
Work collaboratively with the local operations and other key stakeholders to develop executions that help build a strong emotional connection with our customers
Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with our existing and new partners.
Sell Event Sponsorships across both individual and a portfolio of events
Create and manage a pipeline of prospects to grow the sponsorship client base and ensure target attainment
Support sales teams in sourcing and developing sales leads to prospect
Work with Sales Teams to prepare sales proposals for sponsorship investments
Identify and propose custom marketing solutions to CEOs and VPs
Implement efficient key account management strategies to maximize client relationship value
Actively work with sales teams across London, New York and Los Angeles

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience Required:

Degree in Marketing or Communications / marketing-related discipline
Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ experience in sponsorship management, equity building, and campaign development; Experience in virtual reality is a plus

Generalist (Commercials)

Description

Purpose of the job:

The commercial Generalist will work alongside experienced VFX Supervisors and other VFX Artists creating all types of 3D Visual Effects for Commercial projects.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Modeling & texture tasks
UV models
Lighting/rendering tasks
Complete tasks within deadlines
Knowledge of Maya & UV’s
Knowledge of photo-real lighting/rendering
MEL scripting is preferred

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years production experience creating photo-real effects
Proven and demonstrable experience in high-end VFX using Maya and/or Mari
In-depth knowledge of VFX techniques, workflow and some experience with other software
Good understanding of most CG techniques and technologies
Proactive in picking up proprietary tools
Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues
Must be comfortable working in a commercials timeline
Experience in Z-Brush a plus
Concept design experience a plus
Solid communication and organizational skills

Senior Marketing Manager

Purpose of the job:

The Senior Marketing Manager will play a critical role in the planning and execution of the company’s marketing activities, including messaging, advertising, design, social media, events, website maintenance/development, SEO, product launches, customer references, partner marketing, support of the business development team and internal communications. This role will both manage external vendors and serve as an individual contributor, and will work closely with the PR manager and counterparts in Asia to coordinate cross-channel campaigns.

Manage and maintain the website, liaise with international teams to coordinate localization of the site
