Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Local CRM Coordinator, the successful candidate will be in charge of developing and maintaining an internal User Interface, targeted at an international non-technical audience. The tool you will be working on is one of the best performing internally developed CRM tools in the industry. It has a direct impact on the monetization and configuration of Gameloft games influencing the behavior of more than 25M daily active users.
The successful candidate will integrate online functionalities that have been developed by CRM online developers in a clear and usable UI, adapted to non-technical clients.
The successful candidate must display autonomy and creativity in developing the UI, as much on a functional side as on an aesthetic side.

Requirements

· DEC in Computer science is highly desired, or candidates with 3 or more years of experience in Web Development.
· Excellent programming skills in PHP
· Experience working with SQL databases
· Knowledge of Javascript, jQuery, CSS3 and HTML applied to Web Design
· Experience using CVS such as Subversion
· Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
· English proficiency

As part of a Montreal-based team, you will supervise and take part in the production of environments, decor, and 3D assets for a AAA-quality 3D, photorealistic FPS (first-person shooter) on a next-generation mobile platform.
Working in collaboration with the production team, producer and local art director
Supervising and taking part in the creation of high-quality backgrounds, environments and modular kits (organic, mechanical, architecture) for next-generation mobile platforms
Taking part in the creation of guidelines that allow for the reconciliation of artistic directives, with design choices and technical limitations

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The role of a technical artist specialised in shaders is one that requires broad and detailed knowledge of the concepts and tools used in video-game lighting. Experience in creating shaders in real time is essential.
The selected candidate will be tasked with developing, documenting, and overseeing the work and the methods used by the art team. This position requires someone who is able to understand technical problems from an artistic perspective, while working directly with the lead artists and programmers. The technical artist may be responsible for training artists in new production techniques and ensuring that those methods are compatible with the game engine.
The ideal candidate must have solid experience in video-game production as well as strong knowledge of the graphics techniques used in current console games (PBR – physically based rendering).

Requirements

Experience in video-game production (minimum 5 years of experience in the video-game industry)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will participate and supervise an artistic production for a AAA photorealistic project. The art director will act as the primary link between the Montreal studio’s graphics team, the project manager, the creative director, and the studio art director on a new 3D title for high-end mobile platforms.

· Defining the game’s art style, while complying with the creative vision of the initial art direction
· Conveying expectations, both in terms of the level of quality and content (backgrounds, environments, characters), to the graphics team (concept artists, environment artists, character artists, animation team) by making use of the pertinent visual references, concept art, production design, and atmosphere materials
· Developing high standards of quality

· A minimum of 5 years of experience as an art director, senior concept artist, or lead artist on AAA console/PC projects (games published on mobile platforms are an asset)
· Excellent artistic and technical skill sets (concept art, illustration, high-resolution sculpting/modelling, UI design)
· Expertise with 2D/3D next-gen production tools (knowledge of rendering engines and of compositing is an asset)
· Technical expertise with the main graphics engines on the market (knowledge of iOS platforms is an asset)

The Technical Game Designer will work closely with the Game Designer and Lead Programmer to help them implement all interactive content in games. The successful candidate will mainly participate in producing and designing levels, as well as script all gameplay elements within.

3D Graphics Programmer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

· Implementing and optimizing special effects in a 3D graphics engine
· Programming in all relevant languages (C/C++/GLSL/HLSL/Cg)
· Providing assistance for 3D functions and systems designed for the production;

· Implementing cutting-edge 3D graphics technology to games on the latest generation of consoles
· Working closely with game developers and graphics teams to determine the various game limitations and implementing all game elements

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the sound team lead, the selected candidate will work in collaboration with the video editor, the video producer, and the director. The candidate will be responsible for audio post-production on trailers that are intended for marketing and promotional purposes.
This position is not related to the production of game audio.

Requirements

· 3 to 5 years of experience in audio post-production for video: sound design, audio processing, musical publishing, and voice-over mixing for trailers used in various formats (TV, web, etc.)
· True mastery of audio post-production and sound-design software such as Pro Tools, Ableton, and/or equivalent
· Mastery of, and experience with, the audio-production style specific to trailers and advertising

Skills and Profile

· Strong communicator who’s able to work in a team
· A diploma in sound design and/or equivalent is preferred
· Passion for audio post-production tied to visuals

Technical Animator (Rigger)

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Art Director and the Lead Animator, the selected candidate will be in charge of rigging, skinning and controlling animation data flow on various productions, creating high-quality content with provided tools and assets. Specific tasks include:

· Setting up custom human character rigs, complex vehicle rigs with secondary dynamic animation, and possibly also environment FX rigs;
· Writing utility scripts and tools to streamline the rigging setup process;
· Collaborating with animators to design motion controls;
· Developing and maintaining character motion and deformation systems;
· Developing secondary dynamic systems;
· Getting involved in R&D and tool building to improve the animation pipeline.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of 3ds Max (custom rig/character studio/CATs) and MotionBuilder;
Experience writing scripts and automating rigging processes (Python/MAXscript);
Preferably at least 3 years’ experience in a professional production environment;
Experience with setting up state machines and the procedural animation pipeline;
Experience in setting up custom rigs for characters/vehicles;
Good understanding of 3D FK/IK skeletal animation systems for both control and deformation of 3D characters (stylised and realistic);
Experience with secondary animation systems (including clothing/hair simulation) preferred.
