Giant are hiring a rigger
Giant Animation are looking for experienced 3DS Max riggers to create intuitive character rigs across a broad range of projects.
Experience Required 2+ years
Design, create, test and maintain character and prop rigs / setups.
Work with modellers to create a model that meets technical needs.
Collaborate with animators to design motion controls.
Develop new techniques and processes to solve character production challenges.
Capable of writing pipeline tools to streamline the setup process.
Work with production management to prioritize production tasks.
Good Communication skills and ability to work interactively with production and other departments to solve production challengs.
Ability to rig characters / objects in a realistic or cartoon manner
In depth knowledge of 3DS Max is essential, preferably with 2 years industry experience.
Strong understanding of human and creature anatomy and locomotion.
Good understanding of MaxScript
Experience with setting up rigging pipelines while being able to follow guidelines.
The ability to show initiative, working both by themselves and in a team
Rigging for game pipelines
