Job Description

The Compositor combines live action and computer generated elements into visual effects shots that realize the vision and creative direction of the client and Visual Effects Supervisor. The compositor is ultimately responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered to the client.
Composites feature effects using Nuke and proprietary software.
Together with the Compositing Supervisor and Visual Effects Supervisor, evaluate the creative and technical approach for assigned shots.
Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and color grading.
Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.


Minimum of 3 years of digital compositing experience in a feature film or commercial production environment.
Ideal candidate has a strong sense of composition, color and design.
Strong fine arts foundation skills, such as photography and photographic lighting.
Working knowledge of Nuke required. Ability to create complex macros and/or plugins in Nuke is a plus.
Proficiency with UNIX and shell scripting.
Programming experience a plus.

Facilities Assistant

Job Description

The Facilities Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable work area. Duties include cleaning up during and after meals, restroom maintenance, assisting with setup of special events and various other errands as needed.

Clean up during and after breakfast, which includes:

Bussing trays
Loading the dish washer
Wiping down counters, tables and chairs
Maintaining a clean workspace around the cereal and coffee bars
Emptying trash receptacles throughout the building as needed
Maintaining the trash and sink areas in the bathrooms as needed

Additional duties:

Bussing dishes and glasses from the mix stages during the 1pm to 2pm lunch break while clients are at lunch.
When needed, may help set up and wrap special events in the common areas.
May be required to run various errands both on and off the ranch. This includes but is not limited to guest and craft/catering shopping and various equipment pick-ups/returns.


Required Skills/Competencies:

Must have a car, valid California driver’s license and provide DMV history
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Must be able to understand and speak English.
Applicant must have the ability to take direction and also be able to self-direct when working alone.

Preferred Skills/Competencies:

Prefer someone with a strong sense of their surroundings and good use of discretion. They must be able to discern when an area is being used for a private meeting and when it is okay to enter the area when it is being used more casually.

The Recruiting Coordinator ensures a smooth operation of the Recruiting Function, providing an excellent level of service to hiring managers, employees and candidates, resulting in the employment of top-notch talent and a positive perception of the Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Companies as an Employer of Choice within the industry.

• Support the recruiting function and process that includes: scheduling interviews, organizing candidate travel arrangements, reserving conference rooms, preparing offer letters, processing employee referrals, and completing reference and background checks.
• Initiate and maintain communication with candidates during the scheduling process and on the interview day, ensuring candidates have an excellent “high touch” interview experience.
• Enter new positions into applicant tracking system and maintain the ATS database, ensuring all notes and candidate history are captured.
• Post open positions to company website, social media and other appropriate job sites making sure all posts are up-to-date and maintained.
• Coordinates candidate travel for interviews and partners with Disney Travel
• Act as liaison between all temporary agencies and managers. Responsible for phone screens of potential temp candidates as well as onboarding logistics.
• Assist with rehire orientation of prior employees
• Partner & Support Disney Segment recruiting when requested.
• Foster positive working relationships with the Human Resources Department, the Recruiting Team and internal/external clients, including hiring managers, new hires and candidates.
• Communicate professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect.
• Monitor all recruiting referral alias email mailboxes and follow up with candidates.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
• Assist Talent & HR team in special projects as required.


• College degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology, Communications or related field preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruiting.
• 1 year demonstrated experience positively interfacing as a member of a high profile team, and professionally representing an organization to the public.
• 1 year work experience in customer service, sales, multi-tasking, project management, and event coordination.
• Strong computer knowledge (Internet research/recruiting, Microsoft Office Suite ) are required.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
• Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success.
• Experience with ATS a plus
• Ability to handle several projects at once, with excellent organizational skills.
• Some travel required
