The Recruiting Coordinator ensures the smooth operation of the Recruiting Function, providing an excellent level of service to hiring managers, employees and candidates, resulting in the employment of top-notch talent and a positive perception of the Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Companies as an Employer of Choice within the industry.
Support recruiting function with recruiting process that includes: scheduling interviews, organizing travel arrangements for candidates, reserving conference rooms, preparing offer letters and processing employee referrals and background checks.
Initiate and maintain communication with candidates during the scheduling process and on the interview day, ensuring candidates have an excellent interview experience.
Create and post open positions to company website, keeping all up-to-date.
Maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring all notes and candidate history is captured.
Act as liaison between all temporary agencies and managers. Responsible for phone screens of potential temp candidates as well as onboarding logistics.
Responsible for onboarding of casual staff required for company events.
Foster positive working relationships with the Human Resources Department, the Recruiting Team and internal/external clients, including hiring managers, new hires and candidates. Communicate professionally, tactfully and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Assist in special projects as required


College degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Sociology, Communications or related field preferred.
2 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in recruiting.
1 year demonstrated experience positively interfacing as a member of a high profile team, and professionally representing an organization to the public.
1 year work experience in customer service, sales, multi-tasking, project management, and event coordination.
Strong computer knowledge (Internet research/recruiting, Microsoft Office Suite ) are required.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with a burning desire to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success.
Experience with ATS a plus
Ability to handle several projects at once, with excellent organizational skills.
Some travel required
