Animation Artist

We’re looking for talented animators who also exhibit abilities and interest in other aspects of production.

Responsibilities
Candidate will need to have a strong understanding of character animation, and also willing and able to chip in with other elements of production when needed. No one trick ponies here. Ideal animator will have a strong technical mind, attention to detail, as well as great creative sensibilities. Rigging or other skills a huge plus.

Qualifications
Must be a team player, a ‘get it done’ attitude, willing to learn new things, and help out production in other parts of the pipeline if needed. Knowledge of Maya required, any additional software knowledge or skill sets is a plus. Prior film experience is NOT required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Responsibilities
Develop realistic skeletal rigs for a variety of humanoids and complex creatures
Create tools with the Maya API and MEL scripts to enable animators to create realistic animation
Work with senior TD’s to develop and integrate tools into a robust pipeline

Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and a thorough understanding of bio-mechanics, kinesiology for humanoid and animals
Thorough understanding of weighting and skinning and be able to work interactively with modelers to resolve challenges
Demonstrated ability to rig a variety of characters/objects in a realistic, non-cartoon manner

Responsibilities

The Visual Effects Producer is at the heart of a production.
