Digital Asset Coordinator

Creative Design & Development (CDD) is the internal central creative department for DreamWorks Animation. CDD creates the supporting design documents and assets for all departments within DWA, including, but not limited to: Theatrical, Television, Consumer Products, New Business and also DWA, AwesomenessTV and Classic Media Brand initiatives. The Project Management Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Project Management for CDD.


The Project Management Coordinator works directly with the Director of Project Management, Creative Managers and Creative Directors to track and update stakeholders on the completion of project deliverables through JIRA tickets, detailed schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports. They also act as a secondary Scrum Master in planning sessions, task tracking updates and daily stand up meetings with the internal team.
Create, manage and maintain project deliverable schedules for the department in JIRA, performing constant updates as needed while identifying potential project risks and managing effective mitigations.
Collaborate with the internal team to properly scope and allot resources for large-scale projects, breaking them down into iterative tasks and planning resources appropriately.
Assist the Creative Management team in scheduling and preparing for internal and cross-department meetings, reviews and presentations.
Secondary Scrum Master – Help build and update the five department scrum boards based on current sprint tasks, backlog and new tasks as they arrive, synching with other project documents and sites.
Compose daily Digest emails to Department Leads with highlights from daily stand up meetings,new projects and priority updates.
Build out and update the internal wiki (Confluence) pages with process documentation and best practices guidelines for clients.
Alongside the Operations and Production teams, analyze, recommend and implement best practices based on current technology and industry standards.


2+ years experience with iterative development, common Agile practices and Project Management
Acute attention to detail and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple ongoing projects.
Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Excel, Powerpoint.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability motivate and encourage others
Familiarity with Photoshop Creative Suite
Diplomacy and ability to negotiate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Situationally-aware self-starter – be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and take appropriate action
