Recruiting Sourcer – TEMP

DreamWorks Animation, a leader in CG Animated Feature Films, is seeking an experienced Sourcer to work on a short term basis supporting our Artistic, Business Groups and Animation Technology hiring needs. The Sourcer will be responsible for engagingin direct and indirect recruiting efforts to identify and qualify candidates for current job openings while developing a pipeline for future hiring needs.

Position duties include:

– Partnering with Technology, Production Animation, and Overhead Recruiters to identify and understand various skill-sets/positions
– Conducting internet searches using search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo, and MSN) and online website communities (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook) to find candidate resumes and/or contact information
– Utilizing entertainment-related websites to review credit lists of films (both CG animation and live action)
– Networking and developing leads through warm/cold calls, attending industry-related events, and communicating with current employees
– Assistance with reviewing of artistic materials such as demo reels and portfolios of applicants
– Tracking upcoming films from competitors, and development of recent animation studios

Qualifications

– 3-5 years experience sourcing in entertainment, marketing or high tech industries.
– Experience working in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong ability to multi-task and handling multiple projects at the same time
– Computer savvy with Microsoft Office applications (especially MS Excel, Filemaker Pro, and MS Outlook)
– Quick learner and ability to think fast on your feet
– Ability to think outside the box and not afraid to make suggestions
– Team player, but also independent and motivated without much supervision
– Aggressive with strong desire to succeed, goal oriented

Development Director, ATV

Seeking experienced digital content Development Director for a full-time staff position to create and oversee a high volume of programming and set overall content vision for Beauty & Fashion digital video content across our family of content channels. AwesomenessTV, Polished, and Seventeen.

OVERALL:

Creation of unscripted and scripted content for both audience building and branded integrations
Contribute new ideas to the companys development slate as well as to the positioning of our various beauty and fashion brands.
Work closely with sales team generating pitch ideas and materials for brands and content creators
Work closely with the physical production team to develop production budgets and schedules
Produce sizzle reels and create high-end pitch decks
Work with the talent management team to identify and cast talent

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Determines what types of stories and ideas are trending and marketable to YouTube audience
Handles and supervises all projects in development
Works closely with clients to ensure their expectations are met
Inspires and maintains a creative and productive environment
Works with Head of Production in selecting correct creative team for projects
Works with marketing to hit aggressive distribution goals.
Oversee creation of all visual presentation materials

Qualifications

3-5 years minimum Development experience, especially online short form
Well versed in YouTube, digital production, doc/reality, while bringing a proven track record of success
Passion and knowledge of current Beauty and Fashion trends; industry knowledge and contacts a plus
Passion for unscripted content creation
Excellent research skills
Excellent writing skills
Editing and cam operation a plus
Ability to build engaging pitch decks
Experience managing and motivating a cross-functional team while driving results

HR Coordinator

SUMMARY

Provide general administrative and project support to a high volume, fast-paced Production Human Resources Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide administrative support to the Head of Production HR and HR Manager including phones, calendars, printing meeting documents, making travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and p-card invoices.
Heavy calendar scheduling of meetings, often involving many people, for the Production HR team as well as meetings between consultants/off-site trainers and employees.
Liaise with Production and Executive offices to schedule meetings and handle logistics for special events.
Organize exit interview process for Production HR Team: schedule exit interview meetings, prepare exit interview paperwork, coordinate with Payroll for final checks, etc.
Coordinate and handle goodwill requests/gifts for Production employees.
Perform management reporting, tracking and distribution.
Assist employees with general HR inquiries and referring them to the appropriate resource when needed to provide exemplary customer service.
Provide back-up phone coverage for the Global Head of HR and back-up support to other HR Coordinators as needed.
Facilitate New Hire Orientation as part of a rotating group with other HR staff.
Filing and storage coordination as needed.
Act as department catch all for ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

1-3 years of Assistant experience in a heavy volume HR or Production environment. Long term interest in HR is preferred.
Must have ability to work in a fast-paced, frenetic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
Sense of humor and a great attitude is essential.
Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation and follow through.
Ability to manage and maintain highly sensitive and confidential material is a must.
Solidcomputer skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, Google Mail & Calendar required.
Ideal candidate will possess initiative, be diplomatic and flexible.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems on the fly.
