As Pipeline TD for RealtimeUK, you will be responsible for helping the production team to work as efficiently and effectively as possible by maintaining and developing their pipeline and tools. As the complexity and sophistication of our productions develops over time, we need our Pipeline TD to help us create innovative new solutions and tools to help our production team to create some of the best work in the industry. Help artists troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to help them achieve their goals.
In-depth understanding of leading edge computer graphics capabilities and limitations
Proficient with 3D graphics, particle systems, physics, ribbons, shaders, etc.
Solid understanding of next-gen FX authoring process, limitations and dependencies
At least 5 years of experience with 3dsMax
Tool or Plugin development for 3dsMax in MXS and/or C++
Tool development for Nuke in Python
An understanding of the technical needs of animation productions at various stages
The ability to respond rapidly with deliverable solutions
Develop and maintain the pipeline tools for the Games Cinematics and Automotive departments
Troubleshoot artists’ issues and provide easy solutions
Work with the IT department in order to improve the infrastructure
Provide technical advice on project planning
Previous Pipeline Development experience
Experience with APIs for other 3ds software
Experience with Real-Time engines
Previous experience as an Artist is a plus
Minimum of three years of experience working in development within a CG Production Studio
Salary dependant on experience
