Successful applicants show a solid understanding of three-dimensional form, strong mechanical conceptualization, proportion and anatomy, and a high degree of attention to detail in all their work.
Successful applicants also demonstrate a breadth of competence in 3D form – from mechanical design to organic objects, from photo-real to stylized.
Quickly create workable, 3D proof-of-concept models and animations from 2D reference and/or art direction from local supervisors.
Creation of organic characters and hard surface models
Model, apply UVs, rig, animate, texture, light and render models if needed
Work in a collaborative environment, offer ideas, and take direction well
Familiarity with Linux Operating System
Strong spatial visualization skills
Proficiency in Maya and/or 3d Studio Max
1-5+ years of production experience
Degree or background in Art, Industrial Design or Architecture
Shell/MEL/Python scripting, Maya/C++ programming
Background in traditional sculpturing/architecture
