Office Manager

We are seeking a motivated, organized and efficient individual to join our team as an Office Manager to run the daily operations as well as support the financial activities of the company.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll functions.
• Provide administrative support to production staff
• Manage petty cash expenses and expense logs
• Manage employee files, benefits packages
• Answer phones, check messages, and direct calls
• Greet people when they arrive, direct them to the right people
• Sign for and log packages/ sort mail
• Order /Restock Supplies / Groceries
• Liaison between vendors
• Keep office clean, empty trash, load/unload dishwasher
• Open office, make coffee
• Organize office birthdays/ plan special events (wrap parties and office morale events)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Experience in media company setting is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very Detail-oriented
• Comfortable with macs, Microsoft Office and Google Apps/Docs
• Calm under pressure
• Ability to prioritize, organize, problem-solve and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Friendly and outgoing can-do personality

Production Assistant

We are seeking an ambitious, organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. This person will support the daily operations and technical needs of our company. http://roger.tv/

Responsibilities Include:

-Light admin duties
-Assist in answering phones
-Keeping server room organized
-Restocking office supplies
-Closing responsibilities
-Restocking kitchen as needed
-Keeping office tidy (taking out trash as needed, loading dishwasher and similar tasks) -Setting up and maintaining work stations
-Downloading and organizing media for producers
-Runs as needed (bank, lunch, production errands)
-Assisting Office Manager with inventory lists and re-ordering office supplies/ groceries -Make coffee as needed
-Assist production team with daily needs
-Download and organize assets from clients
-Occasional live action set PA responsibilities for small shoots

Requirements:

-Tech Savvy/ strong interest in computers/IT
– Any experience with Adobe Suite/Final Cut/ Premiere is a plus but not required -Interest in learning about Motion Graphics and Production
-CA drivers license/ insurance and able to use personal car for runs (mileage reimbursed)
-Film school or similar background preferred but not required
-Sense of urgency
-Detail oriented
