The Development Coordinator will liaise with creative direction partners, create and implement processes for supporting level pods.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all degrees of ownership, from personally managing to pro-active development planning. Development Coordinator candidates must thrive in a challenging and ambiguous (high speed) environment, and be adept at driving quality in line with team, schedule, and budget.
Provide support to the level team in terms of scheduling guidelines, great collaboration methodologies, and all throughout organization of everything team related.
Partner up with Creative direction to allow effective communication between studio leadership and the team.
Develop understanding, tracking, and updates of resources for the team to ensure active management of scope for the team.
Develop 1:1 relationship with each member of multidisciplinary team.
Actively guide team through challenging development of AAA quality single player campaign.
Keep team informed of active developments throughout the studio, and inform the studio on the team’s progress.
Strong management capabilities.
General understanding of game development disciplines like Design, Environment Art, Animation, and Engineering.
Proficiency in different project management methodologies, while being able to adapt to a mix of them.

Responsibilities and Oversight:
Develop and implement a method for effectively tracking the status of the art team. Develop milestones to integrate into existing process and review deliverables within this context.
Be an active participant in reviews, with particular regard to schedule/milestones.
Lead team during development to establish needs, allocate resources, and then maintain contact throughout project to ensure that those aspects of development are progressing appropriately for a high priority AAA title.
When required, act as liaison between vendors and other dev teams to ensure smooth and effective communication.
Actively guide teams through issues with regard to vendors, licensors, and other departments.
Personally manage the team, conduct 1:1 meetings and continue to grow AAA team.
Multiple shipped titles in leadership positions.

Sr. Director of Product Development
We are currently looking to add a passionate Sr. Director of Product Development with a proven track record for developing and launching owned IP titles. As Sr. Director of Product Development, you will oversee internal development of a major game mode of our upcoming AAA title.
You will manage a team of creative and development personnel across multiple disciplines, act as the project relationship manager with all internal studio parties, use your experience on the front lines to improve production and organization processes, hire and mentor key talent, and act as the point person of accountability and ownership for all project needs to the Studio Executives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide management and leadership to development team while tracking mode development across all disciplines.
Help build and maintain the project schedule, looking to optimize throughout development and providing analysis to senior leadership
Lead the creation of project’s schedule, budget, production pathways, and overall plan; continue to provide leadership through the full product life-cycle
Provide creative direction and leadership to help drive the game mode to quality
Act as primary point of contact with Studio Executives and peer leaders within studio
Ensure the game pillar maintains creative and technical objectives
Be an internal advocate for the product
Manage, coach and develop staff to ensure growth and expand the talent base
Set clear goals for the team and hold employees accountable for deliverables; continually recognize and reward employees for strong performance
Create a culture that provides continuous feedback, support and empowerment
Establish model behavior that supports Sledgehammer Games’ standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
Help attract, hire, manage, and performance manage all levels of direct and extended team developers

The skills and experience we’re looking for:
Bachelors degree required
15+ years of experience in the gaming industry
High business/financial acumen

Shipped 10+ AAA titles

These assets are based on game requirements, technical capabilities of the gaming platform and product scope. Individual understands anatomy and proportions as it translates to 3D modeling, skeletal rigging, and mesh deformation. Takes initiative to learn and adapt to new team practices based on evolving technologies. Can work and thrive in a multidiscipline work atmosphere, alongside an Art Director and Lead Character Artist while under time constraints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Art Director and Concept Artists to develop look and feel of assets.
Create awesome characters that are efficient, built to scale and satisfy budgetary requirements.
Manage a number of assets and prioritize tasks.
Maintain and share extensive knowledge pertaining to military gear, uniforms and equipment.
Work with Technical Art Director to understand budgetary requirements and ensure that the environment created fulfills these requirements.
Receive feedback and modify work based on direction.
Provide feedback to improve the tools.
Follow schedules and meet deadlines.
Understand mesh topology and edge loops as it translates to efficient modeling practices for in-game characters, and is experienced building detailed characters.
Ability to create efficient UV layout for texture map both hard surface and organic models.
Good understanding of UV coordinate space, texturing, and memory budgets.
Thorough working knowledge of Maya.

Prior Experience/Previous Positions related to current position:

Sr. Sound Designer
Sledgehammer Games is looking for a passionate and experienced game Sound Designer to help create a fresh new AAA aural experience for our next project. You will be involved in virtually every aspect of game audio content development alongside one of the most passionate and experienced audio teams in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interactive and linear sound effects design.
• In-depth real-time audio-control scripting.
• Audio asset implementation.
• Mixing & mastering.
• Field recording.
• Dialog processing.
• Music editing.
• Audio tools & run-time systems design collaboration.
• Demonstrated creative and technical achievements in sound design.
• Minimum seven years of experience in game audio development.
• Shipped at least five major titles.
• Fluency in game audio implementation systems.
• Experience in game audio scripting or other relevant programming environments.
• Understanding of PS4, XBOX One, and PC audio functionality, capabilities, and limitations.
• Experience with major digital audio workstations, and power-user of at least one.
• Solid understanding of technical audio theory and audio engineering.

We are in search of an Associate Animator to create in-game and cinematic animations of the absolute highest quality. We’re only interested in the best of the best character animators – if you’re creating the most complex, believable, human animations in a timely manner, then we want you.
Applicants must have at least two years’ experience in character animation for games and a strong understanding of traditional animation fundamentals, with a focus on realistic human animation. Experience with Maya and animation editing through the “Graph Editor” is a requirement. Past experience with motion capture editing and cleanup is preferred. Applicant must also have a strong understanding of camera animation, cinematic framing as well as shot continuity and facial animation.
An understanding of character creation (modeling, texturing and rigging) is a bonus. Applicants should respond well to feedback and be willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the polish level we require to deliver only AAA titles.
Exclusively “Cartoony,” and “Pose to Pose” animation style reels should not be submitted.
2 years professional animation experience, knowledge of Cinematic and Motion Capture Editing
