Pipeline TD – Touch Surgery – London
Over 5 billion people around the world do not have access to safe surgical care. Touch Surgery empowers and connects the global surgical community to help them make the best decisions for their patients. Our mission is to enable global surgery, and improve patient care.
Our mobile surgical simulation platform is already adopted at major surgical training institutions including Harvard, John’s Hopkins and NYU, and we have over a million users around the world. Surgical bodies, including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) have fully endorsed the platform as the future of digital surgical training. As well as gathering rave healthcare reviews the company has received major media attention including from the BBC, the Guardian and the FT.
At Touch Surgery we bring together smart and talented people from a large diversity of backgrounds, cultures and experiences. As well as being founded by surgeons who self-taught themselves to code, we have world-leading talent from the movie/visual effects industry (including some oscar winning movies), mobile, gaming and digital sectors.
The Touch Surgery Lab is set over 2 open-plan floors in the heart of Clerkenwell (We call it a Lab because we are continuously experimenting with better ways to do things). It’s a great part of London, and right at the heart of the growing technology scene. If you decide to join us, expect to make friends that go beyond work, improve your table tennis skills, and learn new things everyday. All whilst making the world a better place.
