UVs and Materials – Houdini Tutorial
As Henry Ford once said you can have a Model-T in any color as long as it’s black. Well, up to now we have created nice models as long as they are gray. In this module we change all that. We will learn how to set up our models for texturing. We will first learn Houdini’s uv tools to layout out our geometry correctly and then look at the Mantra Surface Shader to add materials to our geometry.
